Hometown: Garfield Heights, Ohio (suburban Cleveland)

Favorite Actors and Actress: I have to choose just one?! It's anyone that can make me forget who they really are, and draw me into what they're playing at the moment. I especially love Jack Nicholson and Julia Roberts.

Person I'd most like to meet: God. And I plan on doing just that with a full list of inquiries!

What makes my show unique to the Bay area: Life's been good to me so far! 2008 officially marks my 20th anniversary with Cox Radio in Tampa Bay (August 15th to be precise). And it's so true: Life does go by very fast. Especially in my chosen profession where people can come and go very quickly. Being a part of the Cox Radio family has always made me feel like I make a real difference in this industry. But I can't imagine working or living anywhere else.

When work is done, and it’s my time, I love heading to the Performing Arts Center for great theater; taking in the many festivals where I can get more inspiration for my personal passion of crafting items like whitewashed furniture with handcrafted mosaic tops; creating snuggly wraps for the Boggy Creek Gang camp, created by Paul Newman and for the Childrens Home; and it wouldn’t be a Monday morning if I didn’t walk in with something fresh from my kitchen for the crowd here...did I mention how much I love to collect cookbooks and try out new baked goodies?! But my life isn’t complete without visits home with my family, and especially the time I spend with my nephews...yes, working on that Aunt of the Year Award. Cox Radio Tampa Bay has been my home for 20 years as of the past August, and it’s the finest radio family I have ever been a part of.

Charities: I strongly believe in paying it forward, I serve on the board of Directors for the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, and RCS (Religious Community Services of Pinellas), and have been honored to be the host of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for the past ten years in Pinellas as well. The fight against breast cancer is a deeply personal one for me, and it has been an honor to lend what help I can. I've been privileged to be a part of helping numerous charities here in the Bay area, including the American Cancer Society , the Arthritis Foundation which was a personal live saver for me, when I discovered I was testing positively for a form of arthritis called Systemic Lupus along with Fibromyalgia; the Tampa Aids Network held wonderful auctions that I used to lose my voice at a lot, Camp Boggy Creek that I managed to crochet a lot of afghans for, and so many others I just want to say thank you to for letting me a part of. Even when I'm really missing my family, I can always count on you, my Tampa Bay family, to make me feel a real part of things here now and for many years to come.
