According to this article...for all those times you zoned-out...or "time-traveled" as Kristi calls it...only to be asked if you were listening...YOU WERE! And now you can even prove it to your boss! Apparently when MRI brain scans were done, it does actually show you were absorbing and consolidating the new information you just gained. And if you zoned out a little just now in reading this...good for you!

Tomorrow is our daughter's last day at her preschool (she starts Kindergarten this year!) It will be the first time in 11 years that one of our children will not attend there. When I gave notice, I felt like it was a break-up.

Maybe it's because it's "wedding season"...or because it is so stinking hot that we're forced to spend more time indoors with each other...but if you're getting a little testy with your spouse. P & G this week expanded their recall of Iams and Eukanuba dog foods for a possible salmonella contamination. You can see the complete list of affected foods here.

Apparently, according to this article, the more affectionate you are with your kids the less they will be stressed as adults. So go ahead and leave those big ol' lipstick marks on their cheeks and tell them it's good for them!!

Now that some cashiers may begin wearing gloves because we're finding the paper used for receipts may be harmful to our health (find out more here), we need to remind ourselves to be patient and courteous when checking out at the grocery store!
